Each year on Australia Day, the Citizen of the Year Awards give local government around the state the opportunity to acknowledge the contribution and celebrate the active citizenship of Western Australians at a local community level.
These prestigious awards are designed to recognise local York residents who demonstrate active citizenship, qualities of leadership, inspiration and community participation, resulting in enhancing our community life.
Nominate now for individuals or groups in the following categories:
- Community Citizen of the Year Award
- Senior Community Citizen of the Year Award over 65 years)
- Youth Community Citizen of the Year Award (under 25 years)
- Active Community Citizen of the Year Award (Group or Event
