The Environmental Review Document (ERD) for the above proposal is now available for public review. A copy of the ERD available to view at the front counter of the Shire Administration Office and also available for download from the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) website HERE
An ERD is required to describe the proposal, the receiving environment, outline the potential impacts of the proposal on the environment, identify management strategies to protect environmental values, address the principles of environmental protection and demonstrate that the proposal is environmentally acceptable.
The EPA has determined that this document should be available for a public review period of five weeks, commencing on 6 July 2020. The closing date for submissions is 10 August 2020.
The invitation at the front of the ERD provides details on making submissions to the EPA. Submissions are to be made through the consultation hub HERE
Alternatively, submissions can be;
- posted to: Chairman, Environmental Protection Authority, Locked Bag 10, Joondalup DC, WA 6919.
- delivered to: Environmental Protection Authority, Prime House, 8 Davidson Terrace Joondalup.
All submissions received by the EPA will be acknowledged and electronic submissions will be acknowledged electronically. The proponent will be required to provide adequate responses to points raised in submissions. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless provided and received in confidence, subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
