IMAGINE YORK 2030 - COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
As part of the major Strategic Review 2020, the Shire will be seeking community feedback on the future direction for York. This will set the vision for the next ten years and identify the priorities for the next four years.
The community will have a say on new and emerging issues, areas which need more attention and areas that could be reduced. The community will be also be encouraged to identify how the Shire and community could work together more to make York a better place to live, work and visit.
“The community gave us clear messages in our last big review in 2016. We have made good progress but it is time to check back in” said Shire President, Councillor Denese Smythe. “We need to know what the community’s priorities are now” she said.
