As part of the Major Strategic Review 2020, the Shire is seeking community feedback on the future direction for York. This will set the vision for the next ten years and identify the priorities for the next four years.
The Community Survey launched on Australia Day and will close on Sunday 16 February. The survey is available online through the Shire of York website and Facebook pages, or a paper copy can be obtained at the Shire Administration Offices, York Recreation & Convention Centre or York Visitors Centre. Paper copies should be returned to the Shire Administration Office.

Copies of the survey will also be available at the Community Workshops scheduled to take place on Thursday 13 February from 6 to 8pm and on Saturday 15 February from 3 to 5 pm. Both workshops will take place at the Lesser Hall, York Town Hall and all are welcome.
“The community gave us clear messages in our last big review in 2016. We have made good progress but it is time to check back in” said Shire President, Councillor Denese Smythe. “We need to know what the community’s priorities are now and so we have created multiple and various opportunities for the community to have their say” she said.
