The Shire has appointed Alina Behan to the position of Executive Manager Corporate and Community Services. Ms Behan starts on Monday 7 September.
Alina Behan has previous experience with a number of Local Government Authorities including City of Swan and City of Wanneroo. She is an experienced Senior Manager, Project Professional and Registered Architect with proficiency in leadership, governance, communications, customer service, strategy and planning.
CEO Chris Linnell says ‘I am very pleased to bring Alina onboard. She has a broad skillset and will be a valuable member of the organisation and an asset to the York community’.
Ms Behan will oversee the management of the Shire’s Corporate and Community Services in accordance with statutory requirements and Council policy, specifically she will be responsible for Customer Service & Administration; Corporate Finance; Information Management, Community Development and Community Engagement. In addition, Executive Managers are integral to the broader management of the Shire.
