- a documented history of a fever in the last few days OR

CONTEMPORARY COLLECTING – COVID-19 YORK
Although the Residency Museum is closed to the public, the staff is still working behind the scenes and would love your help with a new collection initiative.
It would be hard to find anyone in York who has not been affected in some way by the COVID-19 emergency. The museum wants to capture this historic moment with all its challenges, reflective moments, fears, strains, humour, ingenuity and creative endeavours. Residents are invited to send in a story, photos or video of your experiences with COVID-19 to be included in this new collection.

ANZAC DAY
ANZAC day will be different this year but there are a few ways our York community can continue the spirit of the ANZACs and mateship;
Driveways at Dawn
Join people from all over York and around the nation and hold a candle at the end of your driveway this Saturday for ANZAC Day Driveways at Dawn. Tune into Voice of the Avon 101.3fm from 5:45am to hear The Ode, The Last Post and join in a moments silence.
Gunfire Breakfast at Home
Following the dawn service, RSLWA suggests making a gunfire breakfast for your household. This is an ANZAC Day tradition, spawned from the British using the term ‘gunfire’ for the first tea of the morning given to troops before venturing out to battle. Over the last 100 years, this has evolved into making breakfast from whatever is available at the time, with popular options being coffee with a shot of rum, or bacon and eggs.
IGA Window Display
A collage of crocheted and handcrafted poppies, rosemary wreaths and a couple of ANZAC silhouettes created as part of the 2018 ANZAC centenary are showcased in the IGA windows thanks to local creators, York Family Playgroup, York IGA & the York ANZACs – Stories Remembering Them Exhibition.
Thank you for all that you are doing to help slow the spread and keep our community safe.
