An exciting opportunity is available for a driven Projects Technical Officer to join the Shire of York’s Infrastructure & Development Services team. This role involves supporting various projects, contributing to their development and successful delivery.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has an interest in developing a career in project management and infrastructure project delivery.
The successful applicant will have basic knowledge of civil and/or building construction, good computer skills and well developed written and verbal communication skills.
The role requires someone to:
- Assist the project team in executing capital
- Complete various project tasks, including investigating on-ground options and managing project records and information.
- Monitor and report on allocated
- Prepare and update project documents and
- Conduct community consultation and engagement to develop and deliver
Remuneration:
The salary for the position is offered in accordance with Level 5 of the Shire of York Inside Staff Enterprise Agreement 2019 ($81,422 – $85,153). Placement within the range will be determined by the applicant’s age, skills and experience.

11.50% superannuation plus salary sacrificing option with matching Shire contribution up to 3.00%.
