The Shire of York marked Australia Day 2025 with a fantastic day of free community events on Sunday, 26 January

In accordance with Section 5.5(2) of the Local Government Act 1995 notice is hereby given that a Special Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 28 January 2025 in the Council Chambers, First Floor York Town Hall, Joaquina Street, York commencing at 5.00pm.

The next scheduled culling session will take place on Sunday, 12 January 2025, starting at 6:30 AM.

This year there is a full program of free activities for the York community to share and enjoy on Sunday 26 January 2025.

In accordance with Regulation 12(2) of the Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 notice is hereby given of the Council & Committee Ordinary Meeting dates for 2025.

The Shire of York has received confirmation from the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC) that the current vacancy created by the resignation of ex-Councillor James Adamini will remain unfilled until the next ordinary election in October 2025.

The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) has conducted its Audit for the Shire of York for the 2022/23 financial year. A few Significant Audit Findings were made.
